1. About Calorie Budget
Calorie Budget is a general wellness application that helps users calculate calorie plans, record meals, monitor calorie budgets and request AI-assisted meal or nutrition information. The service is not a medical device, healthcare provider or substitute for professional advice.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must meet the minimum legal age required to use digital services in your country. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials and activity performed through your account. You must not share passwords or attempt to access another user's account.
3. Email verification and authentication
Email/password accounts may require email verification. Google Sign-In is also available where supported. We may restrict access until verification or other security requirements are completed.
4. Wellness information and estimates
Calorie calculations use the information you provide and established estimation formulas. Basal metabolic rate, maintenance calories, calorie budgets, projected rates and goal dates are estimates. Actual energy needs and body-weight changes vary between individuals and over time.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you are pregnant, under medical supervision, have an eating disorder or history of disordered eating, or have a condition affected by diet or weight management.
5. AI-assisted features
AI-assisted meal entries, calorie estimates, recipes, recommendations, plan reviews and nutrition insights may contain mistakes. You remain responsible for reviewing entries before saving them and deciding whether information is appropriate for you. Do not rely on AI output for allergies, emergency decisions, diagnosis or treatment.
6. Food allergies and safety
Preference and allergy fields help guide generated suggestions but cannot guarantee that every result is safe or suitable. Always inspect ingredients, product labels, preparation environments and professional medical guidance relevant to your needs.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, quotas, membership controls or security rules.
- Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Upload malicious code or content that infringes another person's rights.
- Use automated systems to create accounts or generate excessive AI requests.
8. Free and PRO access
Some features may be available only to PRO users, may have usage limits or may be offered during a trial period. Feature availability, limits and trial duration may change as the product evolves. Protected entitlement and validity data is determined by trusted backend systems and cannot be modified by users.
9. Your content
You retain ownership of information you enter. You give Calorie Budget permission to process that information only as needed to operate, secure and improve the requested service, including sending relevant input to service providers used for AI processing.
10. Service availability and changes
We may update, add, limit or discontinue features and may temporarily interrupt the service for maintenance, security or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
11. Account suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
12. Account deletion
You can delete your account from Settings in the mobile application. If you cannot access the application, you may initiate a request through our public account-deletion page. We may verify ownership before acting on an email request.
13. Intellectual property
The Calorie Budget name, visual identity, software, website design and original product content are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties that estimates, AI outputs or recommendations will be accurate, complete or suitable for a specific result. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Calorie Budget is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service or reliance on estimates and AI-generated content. Mandatory rights and liabilities remain unaffected.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date will be updated, and material changes may be communicated through the application or website.
